Job summary

Mercy Health in Clermont is seeking a Special Procedures and Cath Lab Technologist to assist licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and interventional procedures, maintaining sterile technique and documenting medications and radiation exposure per policy.

You will perform vascular lab exams, prepare patients, liaise with physicians, and use EPIC EHR to review data and report findings, upholding safety and confidentiality while working in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• ARRT-certified or eligible in Radiologic Technology (required/preferred)
• BLS within hire period (required)
• ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred
• CV-Interventional Radiography or VI/RV ARRT certifications preferred
• State licensure preferred where applicable

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality diagnostic vascular lab exams using ultrasound and physiologic testing equipment.
• Prepares patients for procedures and provides instructions to minimize anxiety.
• Coordinates with referring physicians for exam clarification.
• Documents findings and uses EMR to review patient data and report results.
