Highgate Hotels is seeking a Catering Sales Manager in Lahaina, Hawaii, to solicit new catering accounts, entertain and sustain relationships with existing clients to meet revenue goals. The role requires strong knowledge of weddings and pro-actively prospecting for new sales opportunities while coordinating and servicing client events to ensure customer satisfaction and profitable operations.

Qualifications

• This is an on-site position.
• Attend daily Highgate Hotel Business Review (HHBR) meeting.
• Develop a complete knowledge of company sales policies and SOPs, and ensure adherence by the sales team.
• Meet or exceed set goals.
• Operate the Sales Department within established sales expense budget.
• Initiate and follow up on leads.
• Maintain and participate in an active sales solicitation program.
• Monitor production of all top accounts and evaluate market trends.
• Regularly contact existing accounts per Account Coverage Program.
• Meet or exceed sales solicitation call goals as assigned by the Director of Sales.
• Invite clients to the hotel for entertainment, lunches, tours and site inspections.
• Assist in implementing promotions for direct sales segments.
• Prepare reports in a timely manner.
• Know meeting room configurations and sleeping room types.

Responsabilités

• Develop networking opportunities through active participation in community and professional associations.
• Review meeting planner evaluations with the Director of Sales to ensure issues are followed up.
• Entertain clients.
• Handle inquiries as part of Inquiry Day Program.
• Keep supervisor informed of problems needing attention.
• Meet turnovers within 24 hours via phone and 3 days in writing.
