Job summary

Air Culinaire Worldwide, LLC located in Florence, KY, is hiring a Cook to prepare high-quality menu items for catering orders on site. You will follow established recipes, maintain safety and cleanliness, and work closely with Kitchen Management to ensure timely, accurate production.

The role requires ServSafe certification or progression within 45 days, a high school diploma, knife skills and strong teamwork in a fast-paced kitchen.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• ServSafe Food Handling Certificate required at hire or within 45 days.
• Must have knife/cutting skills.
• Must have an understanding of cooking techniques.
• Culinary experience in restaurants, hotels, or catering, with experience in new culinary trends preferred.
• Demonstrate the ability to take orders and follow through in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
• Be energetic, enthusiastic, creative and highly motivated to assist in food preparation and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Train and direct new and existing Air Culinaire team members, ensuring food, packaging, labeling and allergens are accurate and HACCP compliant.
• Provide feedback to Kitchen Management to monitor, maintain and improve quality.
• Assist in butchering meats and fish and support daily kitchen operations.
• Ensure all food preparations meet ACW specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain a safe, orderly, and sanitized kitchen, monitor temp-logs and use food safety tools properly.
• Assist in ordering, inventory and other duties as assigned by the GM.
• Follow Shipday procedures for order logistics and delivery documentation.
