Nationwide is seeking a National Catastrophe Field Claims Specialist to support Personal Lines nationwide. You will travel to disaster zones, perform on-site inspections, assess damages, and determine coverage while guiding policyholders through the claims process with empathy and professionalism.

Responsibilities include end-to-end claim handling, periodic updates to customers, and collaboration with Special Investigations and Subrogation when needed.

Responsabilités

• Conduct on-site property inspections and damage assessments in catastrophe zones
• Investigate and resolve moderate to complex property claims from start to finish
• Determine policy coverage and prepare estimates using tools like Xactimate
• Own the full lifecycle of claims, including reserving, supplements, and documentation
• Special Investigations, Subrogation as needed
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and internal standard s while ensuring timely resolutions
• Provide proactive, consistent updates to customers throughout the claims process
