Nationwide is seeking a National Catastrophe (NATCAT) Field Claims Specialist II to support Personal Lines. You will travel up to 80% to catastrophe zones, inspect properties, evaluate coverage, and guide policyholders through the claims process with empathy and clear communication.

The role requires on-site inspections, experience with Xactimate, and ability to manage complex claims from start to finish. Candidates should be ready for extended deployments and CAT work in a field environment.

Qualificações

• Three to five years of related property claims experience or education.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct on-site property inspections and damage assessments in catastrophe zones.
• Investigate and resolve moderate to complex property claims from start to finish.
• Determine policy coverage and prepare estimates using tools like Xactimate.
• Own the full lifecycle of claims, including reserving, supplements, and documentation.
• Provide proactive, consistent updates to customers throughout the claims process.
• May perform other responsibilities as assigned.
