Nationwide is seeking a Field Claims Specialist II (NATCAT, Personal Lines) to support major catastrophe events nationwide. You will travel to impacted areas, assess damages, determine coverage, and guide policyholders through the claims process with empathy and professionalism.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of property claims experience, proficiency with Xactimate, and a strong customer service orientation. Extended deployments and 12-hour days may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in field/property claims handling or adjusting.
• Proficiency with Xactimate for estimates.
• Ability to manage claims from start to finish.
• Strong customer service in high-stress situations.

Responsabilités

• Conduct on-site inspections and damage assessments in catastrophe zones.
• Investigate and resolve moderate to complex property claims from start to finish.
• Determine policy coverage and prepare estimates with Xactimate.
• Own the full claims lifecycle including reserving, supplements and documentation.
• Coordinate with Special Investigations and Subrogation as needed.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and internal standards and provide updates to customers.
