Nationwide is seeking a National Catastrophe (NATCAT) Field Claims Specialist II for Personal Lines. This field-based role involves traveling to disaster sites across the country to inspect properties, assess damage, and guide policyholders through the claims process with empathy.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3–5 years of property claims experience or equivalent.
• Xactimate Level 1 certification within 1 year; Level 2 within 2 years.
• Experience working in catastrophe (CAT) environments and on-site inspections.

Responsabilités

• Conduct on-site property inspections and damage assessments in catastrophe zones.
• Investigate and resolve moderate to complex property claims from start to finish.
• Determine policy coverage and prepare estimates using Xactimate and related tools.
• Own reserves, supplements, and documentation throughout the claim lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Special Investigations and Subrogation teams as needed.
• Maintain timely customer updates and comply with regulatory standards.
