Job summary

Zurich E&S is seeking an experienced UA Manager to lead the Casualty Wholesale team across Atlanta, Scottsdale, Rocky Hill or NYC. The role offers hybrid work with in-office presence three days per week and travel to other offices as needed.

You will coach 7–10 direct reports, drive underwriting discipline, and partner with producers to manage new business, renewals and client service while delivering superior broker and customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with 4+ years in Insurance/Underwriting/Market Facing
• High School Diploma or Equivalent with 6+ years in Insurance/Underwriting/Market Facing
• Knowledge of the insurance industry and regulatory environment

Responsibilities

• Ensure teams meet key operational performance goals
• Assess underwriting processes and implement technical standards and controls
• Discuss status of new business, renewals, and renewals in process with producers
• Provide customer service and account management responsibilities as needed
• Lead and develop UA Associates to deliver superior broker/customer experiences
• Staffing decisions and development plans for the team
• Build relationships across the business and lead team huddles/meetings
• Onboard and train new Underwriting Assistants and Underwriters
• Act as SME for initiatives aimed at continuous improvement
