Zurich E&S is seeking an experienced UA Manager to lead the Casualty Wholesale team with multiple office locations (Atlanta, NYC, Scottsdale, Rocky Hill). The role offers a hybrid work model requiring three in-office days per week and occasional travel to other offices.

You will mentor a 7-10 person team, drive underwriting standards, and collaborate with producers to deliver exceptional broker and client experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years in the Insurance, Underwriting or Market Facing area
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice, including Associate Degree and 4+ years in the Insurance, Underwriting or Market Facing area
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6+ years in the Insurance, Underwriting or Market Facing area
• Knowledge of the insurance industry and the legal and regulatory environment

Responsabilités

• Ensure teams meet key operational performance goals.
• Assess underwriting processes to implement standards, controls, practices and procedures.
• Follow up with producers about status of new business, renewals and renewals in process.
• Provide customer service and account management, including policy changes and billing questions.
• Participate in key account relationships with Underwriters.
• Conduct performance evaluations and development conversations with staff.
• Make staffing decisions, delegate tasks and motivate staff to deliver client service.
• Cross-train to support multiple workflows and improve team effectiveness.
• Lead underwriting team huddles and build cross-business relationships.
• Onboard and train Underwriting Assistants and Underwriters.
• Act as SME for initiatives aimed at continuous improvement
