Job summary

Zurich E&S is seeking an experienced UA Manager to join the Casualty Wholesale team. The role is based in Atlanta, Scottsdale, Rocky Hill, or NYC with a hybrid schedule requiring in-office presence three days per week and occasional travel to other offices.

The UA Manager will lead 7–10 direct reports, drive operational performance, and mentor associates. Strong underwriting knowledge and leadership are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with 4+ years experience qualifies.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent with 6+ years experience qualifies.
• Knowledge of the insurance industry and regulatory environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead UA Associates and 7-10 direct reports to deliver superior broker/customer experiences.
• Ensure teams meet key operational performance goals.
• Assess underwriting processes and implement technical standards and controls.
• Provide customer service and handle policy changes and billing questions.
• Develop staff through coaching, performance reviews, and career development plans.
• Build relationships across the business and participate in leadership meetings.
