Job summary

Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor to lead daily operations across all security functions. You will supervise guards, coordinate incident reports, and partner with surveillance and local law enforcement to protect people and property.

The ideal candidate has at least 1½ years in security or law enforcement, supervisory experience, EMT/CPR First Aid certification or eligible within 6 months, and a proven record of exceptional customer service and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1½ years of experience in security, casino security or law enforcement
• Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in security or law enforcement
• EMT/First Responder, CPR and First Aid certification, or certification within 6 months of hire
• Must possess a valid drivers license
• Applicants with an out-of-state license must obtain a Minnesota license within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment by displaying exceptional leadership and supervisory skills
• Protect the property and assets of Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel
• Assist in maintaining daily shift reports and incident reports with all pertinent information
• Supervise and monitor the duties of all floor security guards during each shift
• Coordinate and organize emergency services for incidents such as traffic accidents, fires, bomb threats, inclement weather
• Perform random foot patrols around the casino complex
• Maintain communications with surveillance operators and other departments
• Perform other duties as assigned
