Qualifications

• Supervises the general security and protection of customers, employees, and property.
• Reviews the work activities of subordinate employees and resolves problems within Security.
• Trains and coaches employees in security operations and procedures.
• Mediates and resolves questionable incidents involving customers and/or employees.
• Maintains awareness of safety practices and potential hazards.
• Prepares and submits security reports to the Security Director and authorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety and protection of guests, employees, and property.
• Anticipate problems and react to disturbances and prohibited conduct.
• Inform guests of promotions and directions; answer questions from and direct guests.
• Coordinate activities with law enforcement and escort guests/employees when requested.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cheating methods and scams.
• Maintain surveillance of reports, logs, and incident documentation.
• Brief and supervise oncoming officers; assign tasks and monitor performance.
• Respond to emergencies and direct security staff during incidents.
