Job summary

Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel is seeking a security professional to escort money across the casino floor, monitor entrances, and report suspicious activities. The role includes helping ill or injured guests and staff, providing casino information, and ensuring a professional appearance while on duty.

The position requires strong communication, familiarity with IDs, and confidentiality. EMT/First Aid CPR certifications are helpful, with a preference for prior security experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous security experience preferred.
• EMT, First Responder, CPR and/or First Aid certifications are helpful.
• Knowledge of various forms of identification.
• Knowledge of the Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel floorplan.
• Ability to maintain a strict level of confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical escort of moneys being transported across the casino floor.
• Observe all customers and employees entering the casino and check IDs for age verification.
• Report to shift leader all suspicious activities within sight and hearing.
• Attend to ill and injured customers and employees.
• Provide customers with Casino information (i.e. cashiers, restrooms, restaurants, gaming areas, etc.) when asked.
• Provide chips to various gaming tables on a regular basis.
• Communicate effectively with a wide variety of people.
• Wear the required uniform while on duty, and present a neat, professional image.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
