Job summary

Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor to lead daily operations across all security functions. You will supervise guards, coordinate incident reports, and partner with surveillance and local law enforcement to protect people and property.

The ideal candidate has at least 1½ years in security or law enforcement, supervisory experience, EMT/CPR First Aid certification or eligible within 6 months, and a proven record of exceptional customer service and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1½ years of experience in security, casino security or law enforcement
• Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in security or law enforcement
• EMT/First Responder, CPR and First Aid certification, or certification within 6 months of hire
• Must possess a valid drivers license
• Applicants with an out-of-state license must obtain a Minnesota license within 30 days of hire

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSMaintain a safe and secure environment by displaying exceptional leadership and supervisory skills.Protect the property and assets of Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel.Assist in maintaining daily shift reports and incident reports with all pertinent information, detailing the events and activities of the prescribed shift.Supervise and monitor the duties of all floor security guards during each shift.Assume the role of the Security Shift Supervisor in the Supervisors absence from the property.Display an excellent degree of customer relations and provide exceptional customer service.Provide aid and attend to ill or injured customers and employees by providing adequate medical attention.Assist and cooperate with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies.Assist in the coordination and organization of all emergency services for traffic accidents, fires, bomb threats, inclement weather, etc.Perform random foot patrols around the entire Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel complex on a regular basis.Verify all daily bank deposits and visually observes that all deposit bags are properly secured.Organize all floor security guard breaks and assist as necessary to maintain smooth operations.Maintain a good communication link with surveillance operators.Maintain a neat and professional appearance.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONSMinimum of 1½ years of experience in security, casino security or law enforcement required.Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in security or law enforcement required.EMT/First Responder, CPR and First Aid certification, or certification within 6 months of hire required.Must possess a valid drivers license.
