Job summary

Red Hawk Resort + Casino is seeking a Security Supervisor to oversee Security Officers on the shift, help maintain staffing, and patrol the casino property for safety. The role involves reporting incidents and ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of supervisory and guest services experience, with 2+ years in law enforcement or gaming security preferred, and excellent communication skills. 21+ years old required; on-site employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an Associate degree is preferred.
• Must have at least 1 year of supervisor and guest services experience.
• Two years of experience in law enforcement or gaming security strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the supervision of Security Officers on assigned shift.
• Maintain staffing levels by interviewing, selecting, training, scheduling, evaluating, promoting and disciplining employees as needed.
• Patrol the property on assigned shift and report hazards to ensure safety for guests and staff.
• Back-up Security Officers and assume duties when necessary.
• Prepare and request incident reports involving guests, employees, or the facility.
• Guard transfers of monies and chips on the casino floor and transport chip fills and credits.
• Interact with guests and employees in a positive, professional manner.
• Ensure maximum guest service and satisfaction across the property.
• Attend departmental meetings to facilitate information flow.
• Maintain accurate departmental records and reports.
• Create and implement a comprehensive employee engagement strategy.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
