Job summary

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa is seeking a Security Dispatcher to man the Command Center or Podium, dispatch security personnel, answer calls, and maintain required log books. This pivotal role supports safety of patrons, employees, and assets across the casino and hotel complex while adhering to Gaming Commission Regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must apply for, obtain and remain eligible for the Seminole Tribal Gaming License.
• Valid Motor Vehicle License with good driving record.
• Must be able to complete standard company forms and reports.

Responsibilities

• Manning the Command Center or Podium and dispatching security personnel.
• Receive incoming calls and maintain required log books.
• Provide basic security coverage for patrons, employees and assets.
• Monitor and operate CCTV and fire alarm systems, and maintain incident logs.
• Coordinate emergency notifications and response as needed.
