Job summary

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa is seeking a security dispatcher to man the Command Center or Podium, receive calls, and maintain required logs. You will help protect patrons, employees, and assets across casino and hotel areas while adhering to Gaming Commission regulations and company policies.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and eligibility for the Seminole Tribal Gaming License.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required; related experience preferred.
• Must apply for, obtain and remain eligible for the Seminole Tribal Gaming License.
• Valid Motor Vehicle License with good driving record.
• Must be able to complete standard company forms and reports.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic security coverage ensuring adequate protection for patrons, employees and the company.
• Ensures proper security for all transfers of monies within casino and hotel areas.
• Operates and monitors fire alarm and security CCTV systems.
• Maintains accurate security incident logs and prepares detailed incident reports.
• Implements notification process in emergencies (fire, bomb threat, weather emergencies) and coordinates responses.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description

This position is responsible for manning the Command Center or Podium as assigned to dispatch security personnel, receive incoming calls, and maintain required log books.

Essential Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Provides basic security coverage ensuring that adequate protection is provided for the safety and assets of patrons, employees and the company
• Ensures that proper security is provided for all transfers of monies within the casino and hotel areas of the complex
• Conducts themselves in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, and Seminole Tribe of Florida/departmental policies and procedures
• Prepares detailed incident reports in a clear and precise manner
• Operates and monitors the fire alarm and security CCTV systems
• Maintains accurate security incident logs
• Operates and monitors all holdup alarm systems
• Implements notification process in emergency situations i.e., fire, bomb threat, weather emergencies, etc
• Assists in the coordination of emergency situations
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required and a minimum of one (1) year of related experience preferred, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must apply for, obtain and remain eligible for the appropriate Seminole Tribal Gaming License
• Valid Motor Vehicle License with good driving record
