Covenant Logistics is seeking a Carrier Settlement Specialist II to work closely with brokerage and TMS operations, capacity management, and carriers to ensure timely and accurate payment processing for settlements.

Responsibilities include reviewing shipping documents and invoices to resolve payment discrepancies, processing QuickPay requests, following up on outstanding items, and coordinating with internal teams to retrieve missing documents while adhering to controls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in accounts payable preferred.
• 2+ years in logistics preferred.
• Previous accounts payable/collections experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and precise processing of carrier settlements, including review of documents, tolerance assessments, and tariff evaluations.
• Examine carrier invoices to aid in resolution of payment discrepancies.
• Process carrier QuickPay requests accurately and timely.
• Follow up on outstanding items and payment inquiries with carriers.
• Coordinate with internal teams and carriers to retrieve missing documents and adapt to new systems and processes as needed.
