Job summary

Covenant Logistics is seeking a Carrier Settlement Specialist I to coordinate timely processing of carrier settlements, review shipping documents, and resolve payment discrepancies. You will work with brokerage and TMS operations, capacity management, and carriers to ensure accurate payments and respond promptly to carrier inquiries.

Qualifications include 1+ year of accounts payable and logistics experience, strong MS Office proficiency, and the ability to work independently within a team.

Qualifications

• 1+ years accounts payable experience preferred.
• 1+ years in logistics industry preferred.
• Previous experience in accounts payable, collections, credit or similar experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Process carrier settlements promptly and accurately (within 3 days).
• Examine carrier invoices to aid in resolving payment discrepancies.
• Process carrier QuickPay requests timely and accurately.
• Follow up on outstanding items and payment inquiries with carriers.
