Job summary

Travero, a wholly owned subsidiary of Alliant Energy, is seeking a Carrier Sales Representative to build strong relationships with truckload motor carriers and ensure seamless pickups and deliveries for Travero clients.

You will negotiate capacity daily, strive to exceed individual and team targets, and collaborate within a supportive team environment. If you love logistics and relationship-building, this role is for you.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 2 years of sales or customer service experience.
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, sources, negotiates, and procures motor carriers to provide truckload services for clients' shipments.
• Negotiates truckload pricing with motor carriers using internal systems and data.
• Works to improve sales processes to maximize loads sold per day while controlling costs.
• Meets KPIs including Daily Load Volume, Revenue, Margin, and On-Time Service.
• Communicates shipment information timely to internal and external contacts.
