RXO, Inc. is seeking an Associate Carrier Sales Representative in Ann Arbor, MI to source and secure carriers for freight movements. You will negotiate rates, maintain carrier relationships, and ensure timely, cost-efficient shipping.

The role emphasizes strong communication with carriers and customers, plus accurate data entry and responsive issue resolution to uphold RXO’s standards.

Qualifications

• 1 year of procurement experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience is a plus.
• 1 year of transportation experience is preferred.
• 2 years of sales or customer service experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate strong carrier relationships while negotiating and securing carriers to move freight.
• Maintain communication with carriers and customers to ensure a high-quality freight movement process.
• Inform all parties of route changes, delays, freight concerns or other issues as necessary.
• Schedule pickup and delivery appointment times; consider factors like weather, traffic, miles and service rules.
• Follow established procedures regarding loads to ensure shipment integrity and RXO brand.
• Accurately maintain information in RXO's operating systems.
• Research available databases for leads; make cold calls to prospects.
• Track back-end billing and invoicing to ensure carrier charges are accurate.
