HTL, a growing transportation and logistics company, is seeking a Sr. Manager of Carrier Relations to lead nationwide LTL operations and the carrier freight bill audit process. Based in Charlotte, NC, this role requires up to 15% travel and legal authorization to work in the United States.

You will build a diversified carrier network, oversee tariff optimization, and drive performance through strategic partnerships and rigorous compliance. Strong negotiation and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Progressive carrier-relations or capacity-sourcing experience in freight brokerage, 3PL, or shipper environment.
• Experience across LTL and TL with knowledge of Dry Van, Refrigerated, Intermodal, and Flatbed operations.
• Proven track record leading RFPs and carrier procurement events, negotiating contracts, and managing large-scale LTL programs.
• Experience leading carrier sourcing teams with spot and contract capacity procurement.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with senior stakeholder presentation skills.
• Strong computer skills: MS Office; familiarity with TAI and CORSAIR.

Aufgaben

• Develop and execute HTL's carrier strategy across LTL and TL to support growth and service excellence.
• Oversee nationwide LTL operations, carrier performance, tariff optimization, and profitability while maintaining carrier relationships.
• Lead end-to-end RFP processes and carrier procurement events across all modes; manage negotiation and awards.
• Build and maintain strategic carrier partnerships; establish scorecards for service quality and billing accuracy.
• Qualify, onboard, and monitor carriers' compliance including authority, insurance, and safety requirements.
• Lead carrier freight bill audit and discrepancy resolution to recover overcharges.
• Own financial performance within assigned areas, driving margin protection and cost savings.
• Leverage HTL's TAI and CORSAIR platforms to improve visibility and automate workflows.
