C.H. Robinson is seeking a Capacity Portfolio Representative in a hybrid role involving inside sales, account management, and operations.

You will build carrier relationships, negotiate capacity, and coordinate with drivers, dispatchers, and shippers to optimize timing and pricing. The position focuses on delivering exceptional service, leveraging technology for booking, and contributing to a dynamic onboarding and development environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in carrier relations, inside sales or account management preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain carrier relationships through outreach and referrals.
• Learn carriers' goals and capabilities to maximize satisfaction.
• Monitor activity and reactivate underutilized accounts.
• Leverage automated booking tools and apps to improve efficiency.
• Post, negotiate, and secure available capacity to meet customer needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate shipment updates and execution.
• Provide outstanding service by addressing carrier issues and resolving payable concerns.
