C.H. Robinson is seeking a Capacity Portfolio Representative in Minnesota to blend inside sales, account management, and operations, building and managing a carrier portfolio. You will match the right truck to shipments, foster relationships with carriers, and optimize pricing and service.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience using customer perspective to guide decisions and actions.
Able to persuade, motivate, influence and negotiate with others.
Strong decision-making, multi-tasking, communication and interpersonal skills.
Solutions-driven work using tools to evaluate and make recommendations.

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain carrier relationships through lead generation, cold calling, and referrals.
Learn about carriers’ business goals, preferences, and capabilities to maximize relationships and satisfaction.
Monitor account activity, identify inactive or underutilized accounts, and take action to reactivate them.
Leverage technology such as automated booking products, carrier website, and mobile apps to enhance carrier satisfaction and efficiency.
Analyze freight market trends, seasonality, and supply-demand factors to inform pricing decisions.
