Automatic Data Processing, Inc. is seeking a Carrier Partnerships Lead to identify, develop, and maintain strategic carrier relationships across both brokerage and ECS divisions.

The role focuses on monitoring service levels, profitability, and growth opportunities, while negotiating new lanes and leading carrier calls to drive performance. You will report on carrier profitability and contribute to ECS program promotions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor service, profitability, tender acceptance, and growth opportunities for each carrier.
• Negotiate new contract lanes with carriers under purview.
• Lead bi-weekly carrier calls including carrier reps and customer success reps.
• Provide weekly reporting on carrier performance and profitability.
• Promote brokerage carriers into the ECS program.
• Develop bulk division carrier relationships and stay current with bulk book of business.
• Occasionally source capacity for bulk division and contract brokerage freight.

Job description

Carrier Partnerships, Lead (CPL here forth) will identify, develop, and maintain strategic carrier relationships in both the brokerage and ECS divisions (Carriers Under Purview). For strategic carrier partners and ECS carriers, CPL will monitor service, profitability, tender acceptance, and growth opportunities for each carrier. CPL will be responsible for negotiating new contract lanes with Carriers Under Purview. CPL will lead bi-weekly carrier calls that may include carrier reps and customer success reps. CPL will provide weekly reporting on the performance and profitability of carriers under purview to monitor the success of Carrier Partnerships. CPL will work with carrier reps to promote brokerage carriers into the ECS program.

CPL will dedicate a significant amount of time focusing on bulk division carrier development. CPL will maintain an up-to-date understanding of LRT’s bulk book of business, as well as capacity needs.

CPL will, on occasion, directly source capacity for both the bulk division and contract brokerage freight.
