Allen Lund Company seeks a results-driven Carrier Manager in Mount Pleasant, SC to lead Carrier Sales Reps and drive strategic carrier relationships. You will hunt top carriers, negotiate lanes, and mentor a high-performing team to optimize capacity and margins.

In this fast-paced role, you will own capacity strategy, develop elite carrier networks, and coach staff to close profitable deals while aligning with our ESOP-driven culture and growth goals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in freight brokerage, carrier procurement, or account management.
• Proven ability to build trust, navigate high-pressure conversations, and win profitable deals.
• High energy, strong communication, and a passion for coaching teams.
• Degree or equivalent real-world industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor Carrier Sales Reps to improve lane strategy and deal-closing.
• Source, qualify, and secure high-performing truckload and LTL carriers, building relationships with fleet leaders.
• Expand profitable volume with existing partners and identify new capacity opportunities.
• Make fast, high-judgment decisions to keep freight moving and protect margins.
• Lead from the front, upholding our guiding principle: Customer, Company, Office.
