Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a Residential Territory Manager for Carpet Soft Surface Flooring covering the Pittsburgh, PA market (Pittsburgh, Erie PA).

You will build dealer relationships, manage sales calls, and promote Shaw Floors, Anderson Tuftex, and Philadelphia Commercial products. Ideal candidates have a high-school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of sales experience, with ability to travel by vehicle and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or GED required; 1 year of sales experience preferred.
• Must reside in the market and be able to travel in a van or SUV.
• Ability to lift samples and build displays up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule; some evenings may be required.
• Proficient with a laptop and basic MS Windows software.

Responsibilities

• Daily sales calls on existing customers focusing on hard surface flooring products, samples, displays, adhesives, and related goods.
• Present products to retailers, designers and end-users; analyze leads from corporate reports.
• Sell and construct display racks weighing 50 lbs or more.
• Prospect for new accounts while staying aware of market activity within the territory.
• Prepare business transaction reports and sales analyses showing volume and potential.
• Prepare periodic sales reports outlining actual sales, goals, and market conditions.
• Enter all customer interactions and key information into Salesforce.com.
• Promote residential Shaw Floors, Anderson Tuftex, and Philly Commercial.
