Job summary

Morton Buildings is expanding our construction crews and employee owners. The company, an industry leader in post-frame construction, has over 120 years of experience and operates nationwide. You will be part of a team that values safety, quality, and teamwork while earning competitive wages and bonuses.

Starting hourly pay ranges from $21.00 to $23.00 based on experience, with weekly pay. New crew members receive a $500 quarterly bonus during the first year, plus a $2,000 sign-on/first-year

Qualifications

• Experience in building construction/post-frame or carpentry preferred.
• Willingness to participate in a training program.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Able to work 9–10 hours during peak season.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% including overnight travel.
• Commitment to following safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply Morton Buildings' safety and construction procedures, methods and standards.
• Read, understand, and build according to construction plans.
• Utilize tools and equipment to construct buildings safely and efficiently.
• Digest tasks such as digging footings, framing walls and roofs, installing windows and doors, and applying siding and roofing materials.
• Collaborate with crew to maintain a safe, organized, productive work environment with respect for all staff.
