Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. is expanding our construction crews and employee owners. The role offers hourly pay from $22.00 to $24.00, paid weekly, with an annual $2000 bonus and a $500 quarterly retention bonus during the first year.

Under the crew foreman, you will learn and apply safety and construction procedures, read plans, and construct buildings using various siding, roofing, and trim materials. This position involves up to 40 feet heights and 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Experience in post-frame construction or framing preferred.
• Willingness to participate in and complete a training program.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Available to work 9–10 hours during peak season.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds, occasional 100 pounds.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% including overnight trips.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply Morton Buildings' safety and construction standards.
• Read and build according to construction plans.
• Use tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Dig and install footings, frame walls and roof structures.
• Install windows, doors, siding and roofing materials.
• Finish with metal and wood trims and coordinate with crew.
