Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. is expanding its construction crews and employee owners. Wage ranges from $22.00 to $24.00 per hour, paid weekly, with a $2,000 first-year bonus and a $500 quarterly bonus during the first year. The role includes ESOP benefits and comprehensive medical coverage.

The position involves 9–10 hour days during peak season, up to 10% travel, and opportunities for annual pay increases based on experience and attendance. Morton Buildings is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Experience in building construction/post-frame/carpentry preferred (on the job or in school).
• Willingness to participate in and complete a training program.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred.
• Able to work 9–10 hours during peak season.
• Ability to take direction and produce quality work.

Responsibilities

• Learn, keep current with and apply Morton Buildings' safety and construction procedures, methods and standards.
• Read, understand and build according to construction plans.
• Utilize tools and equipment to safely and efficiently construct buildings.
• Complete tasks such as digging footings, framing, installing windows/doors and siding/roofing materials.
• Work with crew personnel in a safe, productive environment with respect for others.
