Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. is expanding its construction crews and employee owners. Earn a base pay of $23.00 to $25.00 per hour, with weekly pay and eligibility for performance bonuses.

New crew members can also receive a $2,000 bonus in year one, plus a $500 quarterly retention bonus during the first year. Position involves 9–10 hour days during peak season, with up to 15% travel and occasional overnight trips.

Qualifications

• Experience in post-frame construction, carpentry or framing preferred.
• Willingness to participate in and complete a training program.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred.
• Available to work 9-10 hours during peak construction season.
• Ability to take direction and produce quality work.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% with possible overnight trips.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply Morton Buildings' safety and construction procedures.
• Read and build according to construction plans.
• Utilize tools and equipment to construct buildings safely and efficiently.
• Execute tasks such as footings, framing, doors, and siding work.
• Work with crew to maintain a safe, organized and respectful environment.
