Job summary

Find Great People | FGP is seeking an experienced HR Manager to serve as the primary HR business partner for our growing professional services organization across the Carolinas. The role will work with senior leadership to deliver strategic and operational HR support while fostering a positive, high-performing workplace culture.

Based in Columbia, SC preferred, with travel to regional offices as needed. You will lead employee relations, performance management, recruitment support, and HR policy

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR leadership experience.
• 3+ years in a professional services environment.
• PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR business partner for all Carolinas-based offices and personnel.
• Lead employee relations matters, workplace investigations, and conflict resolution efforts with professionalism and discretion.
• Partner with office leadership on performance management, workforce planning, and personnel decisions.
• Coach managers and supervisors on HR policies, employment practices, and people leadership strategies.
• Support recruiting and onboarding initiatives to improve hiring outcomes and accelerate employee productivity.
• Participate in annual performance evaluation and compensation review processes.
• Assist with the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures.
• Support recruitment efforts for nonexempt and temporary employees.
• Design and execute employee engagement initiatives that strengthen morale and workplace culture.
• Collaborate with the broader HR team to ensure consistency and alignment across multiple office locations.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Travel to regional offices as needed throughout the year.
