Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC in Charlotte, NC, seeks an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to partner with local leaders, align human capital strategies with business needs, and support the full employee lifecycle.

This regular, full-time role covers employee relations, workforce planning, compliance, talent development, and change initiatives, with frequent regional travel to provide hands-on HR support and build a people-centered culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience; HRBP role strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong working knowledge of HRIS systems (Workday preferred).
• Solid understanding of employment law, regulatory requirements, and HR best practices.
• Excellent relationship-building, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• HR certification preferred (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR).
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies aligned to goals.
• Collaborate on workforce planning, talent development, succession planning, and team structure.
• Promote performance management, coaching, and employee development.
• Lead change management efforts and drive a culture of agility and accountability.
• Monitor HR metrics and recommend data-driven improvements.
• Support HR processes including FMLA, ADA, leave administration, and FLSA classifications.
• Acquire and integrate new teams during acquisitions, including onboarding and policy alignment.
• Respond to leader and employee needs via the HRIS (Workday) and ensure data accuracy.
• Address employee relations matters and ensure compliance with laws and policies.
• Travel to regional units to provide on-site support and engage with employees.
