Job summary

TheKey is seeking a Caregiver Manager to oversee and coordinate caregiving services, manage caregiver schedules, and ensure high-quality care for clients in home-based settings. The role requires strong leadership, compassion, and organizational skills to maintain efficient operations and uphold care standards.

You will train and supervise caregivers, facilitate onboarding, handle inquiries, ensure licensing/compliance, and drive quality improvements across the caregiver team and client care

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or the equivalent experience.
• Two years of experience in health care, elder care, social work, or related industry.
• One year of scheduling experience in a health care or human services setting preferred.
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure with changing priorities and deadlines, and handle a heavy workload.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clinical and non-clinical personnel.
• Computer proficiency and ability to document notes in the system.

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise caregivers, providing guidance and support to deliver quality care.
• Provide supervision, coaching, and corrective action as needed.
• Conduct performance evaluations and development plans.
• Match caregivers to clients based on needs, skills and availability.
• Develop and manage caregiver schedules for adequate coverage.
• Coordinate with administrative staff for smooth workflow.
• Ensure compliance with standards and state regulations.
• Implement quality improvements based on feedback.
• Support ongoing caregiver training and licensing compliance.
• Maintain accurate caregiver records and scheduling data.
• Review payroll/timekeeping and approve for processing.
• Schedule client visits according to care plans and staff availability.
• Document concerns and identify trends for service improvement.
• Meet retention guidelines and implement retention plans.
• Support workers' compensation claims through the process.
• Ensure health and safety regulations compliance.
