Job summary

TheKey of California, LLC is seeking a Caregiver Manager to oversee caregiving services and coordinate daily caregiver and client schedules. You will guide caregiver performance, ensure compliant operations, and support staff with onboarding and training.

The role requires strong leadership, empathy, and organizational skills to maintain high-quality care and a positive caregiver experience. Travel and after-hours support may be required as part of ongoing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Two (2) years experience in health care, elder care, social work, or related industry.
• One (1) year of scheduling experience in health care or human services setting using an online scheduling system is preferred.
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure with changing priorities and stated deadlines, and effectively handle a heavy workload.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clinical and non-clinical personnel.
• Computer proficiency and ability to document timely notes in the system.

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise caregivers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
• Provide supervision, including coaching, counseling, and corrective action.
• Conduct performance evaluations and development plans to enhance caregiver skills.
• Match caregivers with clients based on needs, skills, and availability.
• Develop and manage caregiver schedules and ensure adequate coverage.
• Coordinate with administrative staff for seamless communication and workflow.
• Conduct regular assessments to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Implement quality improvement initiatives based on feedback.
