Job summary

Companions & Homemakers, Inc. in Connecticut seeks compassionate caregivers for non-medical home care across multiple service areas.

You will follow each client's Plan of Care, transport to appointments, assist with light housekeeping, meals, errands, dressing and bathing, and provide companionship. We offer flexible shifts including weekdays, weekends, overnights, live-in, a competitive hourly rate with direct deposit, PTO, holiday pay, benefits, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence - offering companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.
