Job summary

Companions & Homemakers is seeking caregivers to provide non-medical home care across Connecticut. You will follow client plans, assist with daily activities, transport to appointments, and help with meals and light housekeeping.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and be able to pass a background check. Flexible scheduling and ongoing training are available to join a trusted, long-standing team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence—companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.

Your Day-to-Day

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care
• Transport clients to appointments and activities

• Be a steady, caring presence - offering companionship and emotional support
• Document care and provide reminders as directed

What You'll Need
