Job summary

Companions & Homemakers in Connecticut is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical home care across multiple service areas. You will follow each client's Plan of Care, offer companionship, assist with daily activities, transport to appointments, light housekeeping, meals, and errands.

We offer flexible scheduling (Weekdays, Weekends, Overnights, Live-In), competitive hourly pay with direct deposit, paid time off, holiday pay, benefits, 401(k), referral bonuses, and ongoing

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility and incontinence care as needed.
• Be a steady, caring presence and offer companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.
