Job summary

Companions & Homemakers, a trusted Connecticut home care provider, is hiring compassionate caregivers. You will follow each client’s Plan of Care, provide non-medical assistance, transport to appointments, help with light housekeeping and meal prep, and offer companionship and emotional support.

We offer flexible shifts (Weekdays, Weekends, overnights, Live-In), competitive hourly pay with benefits, and opportunities for ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Open availability preferred
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care
• Transport clients to appointments and activities
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care
• Be a steady, caring presence — offering companionship and emotional support
• Document care and provide reminders as directed
