Job summary

Companions & Homemakers, Inc. is hiring to provide non-medical home care in clients' homes across Connecticut. You will follow individualized plans of care, transport clients to activities, and assist with daily tasks while delivering companionship and emotional support.

We offer flexible shifts including weekdays, weekends, overnights, and live-in options, with competitive hourly pay and benefits. A valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and ability to pass a background check are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Help with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence—offering companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.

Your Day-to-Day
