Job summary

Companions & Homemakers in Connecticut is hiring caregivers for flexible, non-medical home care. You will follow each client's Plan of Care, assist with daily tasks, and provide companionship and emotional support.

With a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle, you can join a team that offers paid time off, holiday pay, medical and dental benefits, and referral bonuses. All shifts, weekdays and weekends, are available, including live-in options.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care per each client's Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence — offering companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.

Your Day-to-Day
