Job summary

Companions & Homemakers in Connecticut is hiring caregivers to provide non-medical home care services. You’ll follow each client’s Plan of Care, transport to appointments, help with light housekeeping, meals, errands, dressing, bathing, mobility, and companionship.

Flexible schedules across weekdays, weekends, overnights, and live-in options are available, with benefits including competitive hourly pay, paid time off, holiday pay, and referral bonuses; prior caregiving experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as a caregiver (HHA/CNA/PCA/Companion) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence — offering companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.
