Job summary

Goodwill Houston is seeking a Career Navigator for the Second Century Vision program in the Heights area of Houston. This on-site role will enroll and provide services to 500 participants across Region 1 and Region 4 annually under the Workforce Development program.

The navigator offers case management, financial literacy, career skills training, and labor market guidance, directing participants to training or retraining opportunities through Houston Academy for Career Development and partner

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze opportunities and problems and evaluate alternatives.
• Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate achievement of goals.
• Ability to coordinate, motivate, and work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive employment case management and career planning.
• Maintain a rolling caseload per program requirements.
• Review documents to ensure ALICE financial guidelines and SOP compliance.
• Update CaseWorthy with progress reports and notes.
• Support job seekers with resume, interviewing, and workplace etiquette.
