Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent education/experience considered.
• Three years of experience in employer engagement, job development, workforce partnerships, recruitment coordination, or industry relations.
• Knowledge of regional workforce systems and employer hiring practices.
• Existing employer relationships within Greater Houston priority industries preferred.
• Experience coordinating hiring events or employer collaboratives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with employers across priority sectors.
• Establish direct hiring pipelines connecting job-ready customers to employer partners.
• Promote Goodwill Houston as a source of workforce talent.
• Represent Goodwill Houston at workforce events, employer roundtables, and hiring events.
• Expand employer participation in recruitment activities and events.
• Coordinate placement opportunities for job-ready customers and graduates.
• Assist with resume alignment, interview prep, and employer expectations matching.
• Collaborate with Career Navigators and Instructors to ensure customer readiness.
• Track placements and engagement to support grant reporting and program evaluation.
