Job summary

Goodwill Houston is seeking a Talent Coach in our Human Resources team. Based at our Houston locations, you will connect associates with life and career coaching and with community resources to support retention and growth.

You will maintain the IDP cycle, coordinate coaching notes in electronic case management systems, and refer associates to training, education, and social services while protecting confidentiality and privacy.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Minimum of one year of case management experience preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of community resources across business, government, non-profit, and faith-based organizations.
• Experience as a facilitator, instructor or career coach.
• Good computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the IDP cycle for associates.
• Coach and educate associates to promote growth.
• Promote GWH programs and career pathways.
• Coordinate coaching notes in electronic case management systems.
• Refer associates to community resources and training.
• Travel to multiple locations as needed.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Provide single point of contact support to associates and families.
• Assist with crises intervention and advocacy as required.
