Job summary

Goodwill is seeking a Career Coach and Education Specialist to support employees and clients with intake, assessment, vocational and financial guidance, job search, and placement support. The role focuses on creating actionable plans and building community links to promote employment success.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, teaching work readiness, and assisting onboarding and interview preparation for new staff, contributing to the organization's mission and ACE culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in employment services or vocational rehabilitation preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide career coaching to employees and clients, including intake, assessment, and guidance.
• Develop Individualized Service Plans addressing career and educational goals.
• Engage with community partners and maintain up-to-date resource guides.
• Document client interactions timely and compliant with guidelines.
• Teach work readiness skills in one-on-one and group settings.
• Assist in onboarding and interview prep processes for new staff or applicants.
