Job summary

Goodwill Houston is seeking a Mission Support professional to serve as a single point of contact for associates, coordinating life and work coaching, counseling, assessments, mediation, and advocacy with community resources.

You will manage IDP cycles, build empowering relationships, and promote GWH programs to advance career and life goals. Travel to multiple locations may be required as part of a seamless service delivery.

Qualifications

• The minimum qualification is a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Experience in case management is preferred; facility with community resources is a plus.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation and legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with associates and external partners to provide wrap-around services.
• Maintain an Individual Development Plan (IDP) and monitor progress toward retention and growth.
• Coach, motivate, and educate associates to promote career advancement.
• Refer associates to community resources and internal GWH programs as needed.
• Document coaching notes in electronic case management systems.
• Travel to multiple locations as required and intervene in crises when necessary.
