You will assess needs, guide goal setting, and help clients navigate labor market information. We value strong communication, the ability to manage multiple interactions, and occasional travel to other centers.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent; 3 years of customer service or related experience.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in human services, public administration, business management or related field; 2 years of related experience preferred.
• Effective communication and public speaking skills with the ability to advocate for career center customers.
• Ability to travel between centers (Cambridge, Woburn, Chelsea) and partner sites across 20 cities/towns.
• Bilingual skills in Spanish are highly preferred.

Aufgaben

• Manage a high volume of customer interactions and meet deadlines for services and data entry.
• Explain Career Center services including career planning, job development, and labor market information, training opportunities, partner services and referrals.
• Provide an initial assessment for customers and help develop an employment plan with goals.
• Review customer work search activities, resumes, labor market information, and employment plans with them.
• Assist with resume and cover letter reviews, job search strategies, referrals to partners.
• Provide accurate information on unemployment insurance compliance and report issues.
• Facilitate orientation workshops and job search/career transition workshops.
• Enter relevant customer data per MOSES entry policies and run MOSES reports.
• Establish and maintain relationships with Career Center partners.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
