Job summary

Fairview Health Services in Minneapolis, MN seeks a Team Coordinator for our Primary Care Clinic. This 1.0 FTE role coordinates provider schedules, handles patient registration and communication, and supports the care team with timely documentation and workflow improvements.

You will manage multiple systems, respond to MyChart requests, and help ensure a smooth patient experience while aligning with clinic hours.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a formal medical training program such as MA, HUC, NA, or Medical Secretary.
• 1 year of comparable experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient and provider schedules for assigned areas.
• Complete patient registration and check-in process.
• Verifies patient demographic/employer and insurance information.
• Performs telephone message taking and directs communication in a timely and professional fashion.
• Manage multiple technology applications.
• Manages MyChart requests including patient sign-up, responding to patient messages and resetting passwords.
• Multi-task and prioritize appropriately.
• Continuously improve work processes, environment, and the overall experience to serve customers and meet business goals.
