Job summary

Bickford Senior Living in Carmel, IN is seeking a CMA to provide resident care per service plans, including medications, personal care, housekeeping, laundry, activities, meals, and pet care while encouraging independence.

Responsibilities include administering meds with the six rights, using the eMAR system, communicating with the RN Coordinator, providing direct resident care, supervising non-licensed staff, and exemplifying the Bickford Mission “Whatever it Takes.”

Qualifications

• Current state license as Medication Technician required.
• Minimum of 1 year in long-term care, assisted living, skilled nursing, hospital, or similar.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and federal/state long-term care regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care per service plans.
• Administer medications following the six rights and Bickford policies.
• Utilize eMAR for medication administration and communicate with RN Coordinator.
• Supervise non-licensed team members as appropriate.
• Demonstrate Bickford Mission “Whatever it Takes.”
